Dan graduated from New York University School of Law in 1996. His practice at SPR includes a wide variety of environmental litigation before local, state, and federal courts and administrative bodies, and includes both civil and criminal matters. He also works with governmental agencies to obtain environmental permits, counsels clients during the preparation of environmental impact statements, and helps clients to ensure compliance with applicable regulations by, among other things, overseeing audits of hazardous waste, water, air, and chemical and petroleum storage programs. As reflected in the firm’s broad client base, Dan represents state and local governmental bodies, industrial and commercial clients, as well as individuals and local environmental organizations.
Dan worked at SPR during law school, and rejoined the firm in 2002 after practicing as a litigator at both Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, where he focused on securities and antitrust matters, and Squadron Ellenoff Plesant & Sheinfeld LLP (now Hogan & Hartson LLP) where he worked on trademark, securities and other matters.
Between 1999 and 2000, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jorge A. Solis, of the United States District Court in Dallas, Texas.
