Matthew D. Feil, Associate

Executive Summary:
Matthew graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2003. While there he took several
courses in environmental and land use law. He interned for New York Lawyers for
the Public Interest where he worked on environmental justice issues. He also interned
for World Federalist Movement where he researched reform of global environmental
governance institutions in preparation for the United Nations World Summit on Sustainable
Development in Johannesburg in 2002. In addition, before entering law school, Matthew
earned a Master of Environmental Studies degree from The Evergreen State College
in Olympia, Washington.
Matthew joined SPR in 2007 after working as a litigator at Schulte Roth & Zabel
LLP where he focused on environmental insurance, securities and commercial matters.
Between 2003 and 2004, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Theodore H. Katz,
United States Magistrate Judge in the Southern District of New York.
