Summer Program

Our Summer Program attracts exceptional law students from across the country and provides them with the opportunity to experience the full range of SPR”s diverse environmental law and litigation practice. Summer associates are thrown into the thick of things and given the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and to take on considerable responsibility. Typical assignments for summer associates may include drafting portions of legal briefs and pleadings, attending court conferences, oral arguments, and administrative hearings, as well as conducting legal research. This emphasis on active learning and full participation gives summer associates at the firm the advantage of concrete, practical experience as they move on to the next stage of their careers.

Additionally, a number of social events are specifically planned to provide summer associates with opportunities to become better acquainted with each other, our attorneys, and the community in which we practice.
