Thirteen SPR Environmental Attorneys Recognized as “Super Lawyers”

SPR is proud that thirteen of its environmental lawyers have been recognized as “Super Lawyers” by the eponymous ratings service.

David Paget , Daniel Riesel and Kathy Robb were recognized as Super Lawyers in the environmental litigation field. In addition, Bogin, Paget, and Riesel were also included on the Super Lawyers list of the top 100 lawyers in the New York metropolitan area.

Two of the firm’s younger lawyers were also recognized  as “Rising Stars:” Jonathan Kalmuss-Katz and Maggie Macdonald  This honor is reserved for attorneys who either have practiced for ten years or less or are 40 years old or younger.

Super Lawyers creates its annual list of attorneys after conducting a multiphase process that includes polling, peer nominations, and independent evaluations of professional activity, transactions, and honors.

The 2017 Super Lawyers publication also featured an in-depth profile of David Paget, noting a client’s observation that “when you say David Paget is your lawyer, there is a sense of confidence – and relief.”

In addition to Super Lawyers, several other independent ratings services have recognized SPR this year. Chambers and Partners honored the firm with its top ranking and acknowledged seven SPR attorneys as noted environmental practitioners in New York. Who’s Who Legal identified seven SPR attorneys among its listings of “foremost legal practitioners.” Finally Best Lawyers© recognized seven SPR attorneys in its 2018 edition of Best Lawyers in America, with Mark Chertok and Daniel Riesel each recognized as a Best Lawyers 2018 “Lawyer of the Year.”
